Ladies Cricket at the Hill

Ladies cricket continues this week running from 6-8pm every Thursday Night at the club. WHCC are starting a ladies section with the intention of trying to get a couple of junior teams out as well as a senior ladies team in 2018 and we need more girls/ladies to take up the game. Age and Ability is irrelevant, we want everyone having fun and making new friends, as well as learning new skills.¬

Not the start to the season we were all hoping for, with only one win on the opening weekend. Still early days, so roll on next weekend. 2017 league season starts tomorrow!

After a busy pre-season campaign, the 2017 league season starts tomorrow, with all four sides in action. At the Paulin the 1st XI host Harrow Town (12:30pm start), whilst out the back the 4s face Edmonton (12:30pm start). The bar will be open, and as always, your support is welcome. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend Savio Gomes. Savio has played at the Hill since 2008, becoming one the most popular and dedicated members of the playing section. Last season he played 32 games, playing every Saturday and Sunday, always with a smile on his face. Savio passed away earlier this week from a major heart attack after suffering from coronary hear
