A big weekend for the club, as the 1st XI secured promotion from MCCL Division 3 following a 93 run win at home to Wembley. With rain once again washing out Saturday's matches, the Development XI took centre stage on Sunday, as they beat North London by 2 wickets to top their group and qualify for the quarter-finals. The 1st XI extended their lead at the top of the league after a convincing 114 run win at home to Brentham. An all round team effort saw us post 208 with the bat, before James Shepherd  (4-53) and De La Rey Terblanche (4-5) caused the damage with the ball. A great few days for the club as we recorded an unbeaten league weekend with 4 wins out of 5 (shame on you the 2nd XI!) and fielded eight (yes 8) XIs!! The 1st XI moved top as they won by 4 wickets over at Harrow Town, George Saunders and Charlie Avent with the runs as we chased down 179. The 1st XI were denied by Uxbridge's last wicket pair, as they could only pick up a winning draw on Saturday. A better day at the Paulin, where the 2s and 3s picked up important wins, and for the first time in living memory we were able to field a 6th XI. A great effort from all involved!
