Sam Weller’s rich vein of form continued as he hit his maiden 1st XI century as we chased down 285 away at Barnes.
Having lost the toss, the hosts took advantage of the excellent batting conditions, posting 284-7 in 50 overs, with Alex Scott hitting 130.
This looked an imposing score, however Sam (109) put on excellent partnerships with Jim Gatting (72) and De La Rey Terblanche (51) as we passed the required total 8 wickets down.
The 10 points moves the 1st XI up to 6th in the table.
This weekend the 1s host Harrow St Mary at the Paulin.
